Hello beautiful people! Today we’re looking at a super versatile dress, and the four (or more!) outfits I can create with it. This same concept can be applied to basically any simple dress, so it doesn’t have to be the exact one I’m wearing. As a teacher, I really have to find ways to MAXIMIZE my budget. That means finding statement pieces that you can mix and match with other things in your closet.
I got this adorable dress from a friend’s local boutique, Sutton & Co. This dress is SOOOO comfy!! It’s nice and loose, and the material is very light which makes it perfect for summer. Click the link to head over to her site, this dress is still available for only $32!
In this first look, I paired the dress with a gold belt (Target, no longer available but this one is similar), nude heels (Steve Madden), and simple drop earrings (Kendra Scott). This look is perfect for a spring or summer wedding, church, or anything else that is maybe a little more dressy.
In this second look I made it way more casual. This green military style vest is perfect for dressing things down! I got this vest from Jane.com but the seller was Simply Sage Market. I wear this vest with SO many things. Then I put these super cute and casual shoes with it (KEDS from Nordstrom), gold earrings (Kendra Scott) and gold bracelet (Stella & Dot). This look would also be super adorable with some white Converse.
Next, I wanted to do something still casual but a little more feminine. I paired the dress with my Michael Kors wedges, Stella & Dot Renegade bracelet and Kendra Scott Alexandra earrings. This look is perfect for church or a day date with the hubby or BFF’s!
The fourth look I created by adding a simple jean jacket from The Gap (mine is from the outlet, but this one is similar!), gray booties from Nordstrom, and my white pearl Kendra Scott earrings. I’m also still wearing my favorite Stella & Dot bracelet! This look is perfect for that transition into fall.
All of these looks are appropriate for work too, which is great! I love buying statement pieces that I can use multiple ways. This is a great way to extend your wardrobe without spending a whole lot of cash! Leave your comments below and let me know if you have pieces that you use the same way! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
